The American Design Club, a platform for designers and brands, returned for the fourth consecutive year, where they showed, shared, and sold their work. They welcomed visitors to browse their pop-up shop and take home the latest products made by emerging and established creatives. The American Design Club connects and consults with brands on new opportunities and curates theme-based exhibitions of new work.
“The American Design Club has been a part of the Design Pavilion Market since 2016 when it was at Astor Place in NYC. Since the Design Pavilion has moved to Times Square it has become one of the best retail pop-up shops we do all year. Times Square is the epicenter of New York City, and being able to participate in an outdoor market right when the weather is becoming warmer is amazing. Being associated with one of the best destinations during NYCxDESIGN is such a remarkable opportunity to meet our customers and make sales. We plan on participating every year!”

The Head Hi Book Kiosk for Design Pavilion 2021 will feature a curated selection of vanguard and diverse publications from around the globe, including architecture, art and design books, magazines and self published materials specially selected for Design Pavilion 2021 visitors. Displaying and selling the publications, the kiosk will be a hub for inspiration, dialogue and reference. Head Hi will provide visitors with a welcome and informative experience; a chance to learn more about the Design Pavilion festival’s key themes and participants as well as contemporary ideas, design and art.
Visitors can purchase the publications, browse, find something new and conversate about the offering. The Head Hi Book Kiosk takes form using their signature, minimalist bookshelves designed by Mösco, a Head Hi founder, for their book and coffee shop located in Fort Greene across from the Navy Yard.
In 2020, to complement and enhance the Design Talk series of topics, Head Hi offered additional exploration on the concerns and interests of our time, with a curated selection of books still available here. Check it out!
