Carmita Sanchez-Fong has worked in the interior design and architecture industry for over 25 years. She is the Chairperson of the Interior Design program at FIT. Carmita has a BS in Architecture and an MS in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology. She focuses on advancing service-learning in higher education to help students master abstract academic concepts while fostering social responsibility. She spearheads the department’s service-learning initiatives and is the founder of the Integrated Service Learning Project.
