David Tracy

David specializes in projects that thoughtfully and beautifully incorporate technology and interaction into their surroundings. He sees technology as an architectural material—an element that shapes our experience of the spaces we inhabit as much as steel and concrete. Through a career that has woven together computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, design, and theory, David brings a broad and balanced set of skills to problem solving for a wide range of design challenges, from prototyping to concept design and architecture, and thrives in collaborative environments. Clients include the Smithsonian Institution, TAO Group, Fisher Brothers, Brookfield Properties, and the National Building Museum. He received his Bachelor of Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Professional Studies in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University.
