Farah Ahmad is a licensed Architect and LEED Accredited Professional based in New York City, and a graduate of The City College of New York. Her public sector experience in city government agencies has spanned across sustainable design, advocacy for climate change, building energy codes, environmental journalism, and the greening of public schools. Farah has a passion for the advancement of the green building industry, and continues to raise awareness of the climate crisis and address interdisciplinary action and solutions.  Farah previously served as a building energy code official at New York City Department of Buildings, and is now working on green school projects at New York City School Construction Authority.
