Kevin Murphy

Kevin has a diverse career spanning over 40 years across museums retail and themed entertainment and with design and technology. He is an international thought leader in the use of technology to deliver amazing visitor and user experiences. As the Director of Sales and Marketing with Austrian creative technology integrators, Kraftwerk Living Technologies, he is based in the UK and is working on projects across the globe including China, Middle East and North America.

His career has included being the Development Director at design group Event Communications in London, and at Electrosonic Ltd, a major audiovisual and technology provider, where he actively participated in a number of Board roles over a 20 year period. He also worked at the Natural History Museum in London, with responsibility for the technology development team established during his 10 years there.

Kevin’s experience throughout technology implementation in Corporate, Cultural and Brand projects is extensive, also supporting and working with many conferences and publications over the years.

He is a founding member of the Themed Entertainment Association, TEA, having held a Board position for 8 years, including President of the European and Middle East Board, and just completed a second term on the EME. He has actively chaired TiLE conferences and been a conference committee member over 25 years and a past member of the fundraising committee for the Big Cat sanctuary in the UK.
