Nick Garrison

A partner and design director at FXCollaborative, Nicholas Garrison is an award-winning architect with more than three decades of experience working with cultural institutions, universities, and private secondary schools around the world—from Canada to Kenya, India to the Netherlands, and across the Middle East. Growing up in Seattle, Nicholas cultivated a love for the natural world and the power of narrative to drive design ideas. His designs are optimistic exploitations of a building's relationship to its surroundings. For him, architecture's ideal intersection of the creative and technical led him to pursue both his Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees at Princeton University. Nicholas is a registered architect in New York and Quebec, Canada, and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. Nicholas Garrison has directed the design of several notable projects, including the new Statue of Liberty Museum.
