Talk 1: MANY HATS: Female Voices‍

Dissecting the role of feminism in forging a successful creative career, particularly in male-dominated spaces.

This talk will spotlight two-time Peabody Award-winning social issue documentary filmmaker Maria Finitzo and focus on her latest film THE DILEMMA OF DESIRE - a feature length vérité film about female sexual desire and the powerful gender politics that revolve around NOT acknowledging it.

Joined by Ti Chang and Sophia Wallace who were featured in the film, we will also cover each of their unique career journeys, particularly in the male-dominated industries of filmmaking, industrial design, and the art world.

Her latest initiative is The Black Creative Directory - a community-sourced list of Black artists, freelancers, and vendors, to elevate Black talent within the media, creative, and events industries.
