A boutique design firm located in the Baltimore/Washington DC area, Laura Hodges Studio creates beautiful, tailored spaces that fully express their client’s individual style and taste, and incorporates unique vintage and antique finds, curated art and natural elements. With an experienced eye for detail and design, Laura has been named a New Trad by Traditional Home magazine, a New Wave Designer by House Beautiful and this year, Laura was named one of the top 20 Designers.

Born in a small picturesque town in northern England, Laura’s love of design began in early childhood. Influenced by a Norwegian grandmother, British mother and Jamaican father, Laura developed an early appreciation for travel and diverse cultures, having traveled extensively to over thirty countries from Greece and Morocco to Thailand and Peru. Laura earned a bachelors degree in business, an interior design degree from the New York School of Interior Design, and LEED accreditation for sustainable interior design.

Good design is sustainable and Laura Hodges makes a commitment to her clients, community and the environment to be eco-conscious in her design practices. Laura is a brand ambassador for the Sustainable Furnishings Council, an advocate of environmentally sustainable practices in the home furnishings industry.
